Intelligent Computer Services Data Recovery Services Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Services

Intelligent Computer Services (“ICS”) provides data recovery services to recover lost or inaccessible data from various storage media. ICS will attempt to recover data from hard drives, solid-state drives, flash drives, optical media, and other storage devices.

2. Data Recovery Process

  • Evaluation: ICS will evaluate the damaged storage media to determine the extent of data loss and the feasibility of recovery.
  • Recovery Attempt: If recovery is feasible, ICS will attempt to recover the data using specialized software and techniques.
  • Data Transfer: If data is recovered successfully, ICS will transfer the recovered data to a new storage medium provided by the customer.

3. Data Recovery Success Rate

ICS cannot guarantee the successful recovery of all lost data. The success rate of data recovery depends on various factors, including the severity of damage to the storage media, the type of data loss, and the data itself.

4. Data Confidentiality

ICS takes data confidentiality seriously and will maintain the confidentiality of all customer data throughout the data recovery process. ICS will not access or disclose customer data without the customer’s explicit authorization.

5. Data Integrity

ICS will take all necessary precautions to ensure the integrity of customer data during the data recovery process. ICS will use specialized software and techniques to minimize the risk of data corruption or alteration.

6. Fees and Charges

Data recovery fees are based on the complexity of the data loss, the storage media involved, and the amount of data to be recovered. ICS will provide an estimate of the data recovery fees before proceeding with the recovery attempt.

7. Customer’s Responsibility

The customer is responsible for providing accurate information about the data loss, including the type of storage media, the cause of data loss, and the approximate amount of data to be recovered. The customer is also responsible for backing up their data regularly to minimize the risk of data loss.

8. Limitation of Liability

ICS will not be liable for any damages arising from data loss, including direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. ICS’s liability is limited to the cost of data recovery services.

9. Data Retention

ICS will retain recovered data for a period of 24hours after the completion of data recovery services. After 24 hours, ICS will dispose of the recovered data at its discretion unless otherwise requested by the customer to hold the removal of their data.

10. Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between ICS and the customer with respect to data recovery services. Any other terms or conditions proposed by the customer are hereby rejected.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck from these terms and conditions and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Amendment

ICS may amend these terms and conditions at any time by posting the amended terms and conditions on its website. The amended terms and conditions will be effective immediately upon posting.
